I am interested in applications of optics and photonics to biomedical problems. Project 1. Rapid diagnosis of bacterial infections using surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy, aided by bio-inkjet printing and machine learning analysis. Project 2. Separation of chiral molecules using resonant dielectric nanomaterials for the development of better drugs with fewer side effects.
