Sajjad’s research interest in the dynamic control of light-matter interaction lies at the intersection between materials science, physics, and bioengineering with a focus on the implementation of miniaturized and reconfigurable integrated optics and planar metaphotonics for emerging applications in biosensing, imaging, quantum engineering, and computing.
