My research interest is in using bimetallic nanoparticles for plasmonic photocatalysis. Plasmonic nanoparticles allow us to produce highly excited electrons from incident light, opening up new out-of-equilibrium reaction pathways. Currently, I am investigating the electronic and optical properties of AgPd nanoparticles using transmission electron microscopy.
