Dr. Lin Yuan’s research interests lie in plasmonic photocatalysis, nanostructure fabrication. As a physical chemist, he’s especially interested in resolving the chemistry that lies at the intersection between light-matter interaction and small molecules conversion at the active centers of nanostructure. He likes utilizing the experimental techniques and collaborating with high-accuracy electromagnetic and quantum mechanical calculations to reveal the mechanism of photochemical transformations.
