Research Interests

My research uses non-invasive optical methods to study cancer, with a focus on spatial, label-free Raman spectroscopy to map biochemical heterogeneity in tumors and their microenvironments. I further leverage dielectric metasurfaces to enhance Raman sensitivity and spatial resolution, enabling more sensitive tumor screening and clearer insight into cell-cell interactions in cancer.
